Womenswear tops are seeing forward-feeling updates this season, driven by small, stylistic details. Asymmetrical blouses (+641% to LY) and open shoulder (+100% to LY) tops are gaining traction, while halter crop tops (+105% to LY) are on the rise, particularly in activewear. An early 2000’s favorite, cinched tops (+132% to LY) are making a comeback as a key trend. 

Menswear trends are embracing classic styles reminiscent of the ‘50s. The mens faux leather jacket (+12% to LY) is emerging as a key outerwear trend. Other pieces like the mens pleated trousers (+14% to LY), mens knitted polo shirt (+13% to LY), and mens oxford shoes (+20% to LY) are timeless staples being reinvented for modern wardrobes.

Social media has coined 2026 as the new 2016, and we are already seeing this buzzy trend influence the beauty space. Kylie Cosmetics lip kits had a chokehold on consumers in 2016, and lip kits are currently up +247% in searches to last year. Other nostalgic trends like baked makeup (+191% to LY), matte bronzer (+126% to LY), and makeup setting spray (+71% to LY) are on the rise.

Gen Alpha is bringing back nostalgic trends that Millennials and older Gen Z’ers wore in their teen years. Think high top (+20% to LY) sneakers, Aéropostale jeans (+61% to LY), zigzag headbands (+78% to LY), and bootcut pants (+69% to LY).
